Your party will be set up at our main location by the pier (200 E Arctic Ave.) if don’t have a vacation rental on the island. Here you will be near the shops, restaurants, bathrooms, and parking!

Please see the crew at our Rental Hut, or if it is closed, then head to the beach and head over to the orange flag towards the pier where our crew will be located. It is there that you’ll check in. We are happy to help get you and your stuff to the spot we have ready to go for you!
If you have rented a house on the island, it can be delivered to the closest beach access to your place!
The hours are 9:30 am to 5 pm. We get out early in the morning and set you up in a great spot! Arrive whenever you like as your rental equipment will be there already waiting for you.
If you prefer an early morning start then consider booking our Early Bird Service, which has your rentals ready an hour earlier at 8:30am. Alternatively, if more sleep is probably needed then head to the beach later, but book our Twilight Service so that you can keep your rental gear up to 2 hours later, until 7 pm (limited days/availability).
We will get out early in the morning and set everything up for you!

Most times we can handle additional beach equipment with a simple email. We can add it on our end if available. Cancellations require 48 hour notice.
Upon booking you are acknowledging and accepting the risks as it relates to inclement weather due to the nature of this business as an outdoor-only service. All cancellation requests MUST be submitted to info@follybeachchaircompany.com.
Cancellations or changes made 48 hours or more prior to service start time (9:30am) will receive a refund less an automatic 25% cancellation/change fee. Cancellation requests or date change requests submitted 24 to 48 hours prior to service start time (9:30am) will be available in the form of a credit to be used for a future day, expiring 2 years from issue date. Cancellation requests less than 24 hours prior to service start time are non-refundable regardless of weather conditions or any other circumstance.
Alcohol on folly beach, like most beaches, is illegal.
We recommend all beverages should be in a reusable container! No Glass!
Park along the street if you can find a spot, or use one of the paid lots directly behind us. If you take a left onto Ashley Ave, at the one and only stoplight in town you’ll see several lots to choose from on your left and right, or free parking a little further up or a block further back from the beach.
Many groups Uber from downtown Charleston, tell the driver to drop you at 200 East Arctic Ave-this takes you to the 2East Public Beach Access. Walk over and you will see our orange umbrellas as soon as you hit the sand!
If you drive, turn left at our only stoplight and you will notice Paid Lots on the left and right. If you come early, you may score free parking along the streets! We are on the sand between 1E and 2E Beach Accesses.
Yes! Choose one of our pre-set packages and add additional chairs or other beach items a la cart from the product list or simply choose the “Create Your Own Package” and add everything you need!
We do not sell or rent beach towels, however there is a Walmart off Folly Road on your way to the beach, or the many gift shops that are just a block away from our main set up location will definitely have beach towels available to purchase.
